Without one, even simple pieces get lost in translation between designer and manufacturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What a Tech Pack Should Include<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flat sketches (front, back, and any relevant detail views)<\/li>\n\n<li>A complete measurement spec, or points of measure, for every size in your run<\/li>\n\n<li>Fabric and trim details, including GSM, composition, and supplier references<\/li>\n\n<li>Construction notes covering seams, stitching type, and finishing<\/li>\n\n<li>Colorways and any artwork or print placement files<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Building the Measurement Spec<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your point-of-measure (POM) chart is the most important page in the pack. It lists exact measurements &#8212; chest, length, sleeve, hem &#8212; for every size, along with acceptable tolerance (usually &#177;0.5&#8211;1 cm depending on the garment).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Tolerances Matter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A tolerance that&#8217;s too tight will get flagged (and cost you) at quality control; too loose, and your garments will fit inconsistently across a production run. <strong>Agree on tolerances with your factory before bulk production<\/strong>, not after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Revisions Are Normal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Expect at least one or two rounds of tech pack revisions after your first fit sample.
